SpaceMakers – NASA Week!

Open to all 2nd-entering 6th grade students.

Location: Steele Elementary near Wash Park, 320 S. Marion Pkwy
Dates: July 17- 21, 2017
Times: 8:30am – 3:30pm
Ages: 2nd – entering 6th; (Min 10; Max 25)
Tuition: $250/week; Includes all materials and 2 snack breaks

Have a blast during this fun-filled week of space-inspired investigation! Learn to solder, design a mission and explore the cosmos with artists and NASA consultants, Tyler & Monica Aiello. Campers invent, build and investigate space science through visual art, kinetic sculpture, model building and tech-based creations. From ancient astronomy to new NASA missions, campers learn about our celestial neighborhood in new and exciting ways. They also gain great STEM skills while inventing and discovering together.  

Projects include: Soldering & electronics, Motorized mobiles, kinetic rovers, mission models, mixed-media art projects, rockets and more!
