WYOMING STARGAZING

PoP-UP TO THE ECLIPSE - MAKER NIGHT

Eurekus joined Wyoming Stargazing and the Art Association of Jackson Hole for a very special family event celebrating the 2017 Total Solar Eclipse. The Pop-Up Maker Night at the Old Wilson Schoolhouse featured many fun-filled activities for youth and adults alike. Folks enjoyed our 3 Maker tables where they created kinetic astronaut puppets, LED constellation lanterns and pneumatic rockets. Acclaimed astronomer Dr. Tyler Nordgren spoke about the upcoming eclipse which will be seen in totality in the beautiful Jackson Hole area. And, Wyoming Stargazing delighted visitors with telescopes and a sky party. Many thanks also to NASA scientist Julie Rathbun and McREL International for their hard work and support. This unique engagement event was also supported by the Center of Wonder.
